Danny Gonzalez’ video Trying Troom Troom’s Awful Crafts 3.

I will begin this post by stating that I (and drift partner) am/are only familiar with Troom Troom’s videos thanks to the series that one of our favorite YouTubers, Danny Gonzalez, has done on them. We haven’t ever gone to the channel of our own volition, but at this point Danny has covered their content in many videos of his own:

You may notice that one of those videos isn’t strictly about Troom Troom, but about one of its competitors, another YouTube channel conglomerate called 123 Go. The reasons why (aside from their very obvious similarity to Troom Troom) will be explained.

So what is Troom Troom? Based on the clips shown in Danny’s videos covering their videos, the simplest explanation I can come up with is that it’s a YouTube channel (and Instagram account, and probably other social media something?) made by a group of young people in Russia or a neighboring country (the first video features a bag of chips with Cyrillic letters, and on top of that their scripts sound, to paraphrase Danny in that same video, like someone wrote them in another language and then Google Translated them into English). The content they originally produced was, as the above titles might suggest, largely based in pranks and crafts that you could do to or with your friends, and the videos featured a recurring cast of characters.
